The update will reportedly be called “The Cobra.” The company has yet to reveal the patch notes for the update, however, it is rolling out all the new features that the update will bring for a while. The update will include new gameplay mechanics, weapon balancing, and new characters.
What are the changes: Garena Free Fire OB26 Update?
The Garena Free Fire OB26 update will rebalance nine weapons to help keep the game fair. Weapons being rebalanced will include Gorza, UMP, M1014, M249, SVD, M1887, Vector, Parsifal, and Woodpecker.
Similar to Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM), a revival system will also be updated. Its system will be slightly different from CODM, as players will have to collect tokens, after which they can be exchanged for revival cards at vending machines. Players will also be able to revive an entire team with the help of revival points scattered across the map during a match.
The update will bring an option to give players quick commands, such as “Enemy Spotted” or “Stay tuned” as we use in PUBG Mobile. This feature will help players communicate with their teammates without having to turn on the microphone.
A new weapon called UAV-Lite will be added to the game. Little is known about the new weapon, but it is expected to function in a similar way to UAVs.
The training ground will get a visual and game enhancement, with new options like running on the track map. Players will also be able to ride the Ferris wheel in the game.
Skylar, the newest addition to the characters, is based on Vietnamese music artist Son Tung M-TP. He will have the ability to destroy Glow Walls.
